Developer News

Novell Readies Silverlight Clone for Linux

This is the third and (for the time being) final part in our series on the proper use of hyperlinks. In the first and second parts of this series we discussed the various techniques used to create hyperlinks, as well as the arcane secrets of designing informational links that form part of your text. For this grand finale, we're going to discuss the design of that quintessential element of any good Web site, navigational links.

Designing navigational links properly means that you give your users the freedom and ability to navigate through your site efficiently and with minimum hassle. A lack of proper navigation will cause readers to click on anything resembling the link they want, causing frustration, delays, and less traffic for your site.
