Registration About the Owner

Bruce Edwards - LUV.NU

Bruce Edwards

Adorns a 1968 moke. International plates, anyone? A moke, according to Bruce, is a "1000cc motor on wheels with a couple of seats attached." Bruce says it's the only way to travel, "a bit like riding a bike without a helmet." [Ummmmmmmm... "the Internet License Plate Gallery does not endorse the riding of bicycles without protective headgear." There. I feel better.]

Ken - PC GUY

Ken

Registered in February of 2001 on a '97 Camry. Ken is a Web developer and enjoys tinkering with PCs in his spare time.

Jeri Maier - LINUX

Jeri Maier

First registered in 1999 and now on a Jeep Cherokee. How many different meanings can one plate have? This plate promotes the "PC Super Highway," a fair representation of Jeri's work as a systems analyst for 23 years (now retired); the "Pacific Coast Highway," where Jeri lives; and PC-HWY.com - one of Jeri's Web sites. Jeri is also the founder and CEO of Boomers International, a portal for baby boomers.

Bruce Dawson - LINUX

Bruce Dawson

First registered "many years ago." Bruce reports that this plate was lost for awhile in 1997 - the result of his car having been stolen (no doubt the thieves were really only interested in the plate). Fortunately, New Hampshire re-issued the plate for him before any other Linux fans could get to it. Bruce's site can be found at http://www.milessmithfarm.net.

Foxy - IDOHTML

Foxy

First registered in 1998 - now proudly displayed on... a wall. Foxy has been a 'Net junkie since 1995, and registered this plate after spending "25 hours a day in front of the puter typing HTML in Notepad."

Bob Retzer - I FX PCS

In his current job, Bob maintains client machines on a Citrix Metaframe network running Win 2K with over 360 offices in 45 states nationwide.

David Ralph - WEBDUDE

David Ralph

Tony Armendariz - WEBART

Tony Armendariz

Registered in Illinois in 2001 and appears on a 1998 S-10 Blazer. A Web Designer for an ad agency in Northbrook, Illinois, Tony chose WEB ART because he's "mostly a graphics guy first and a coder second." You can see Tony's personal portfolio at www.armendarizart.com.

Richard Jarrow - CMPUTRS

Marrianne Bacon - WEBDEV

Marrianne Bacon

Freshly registered this month (December 2001) on a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. You can check out Marrianne's site at: www.marianne.com.

Jon Harris - RUWEB

Jon Harris

Registered In February, 2000. Jon is the Assistant Web Director for Radford University (RU), in Radford VA. Part of the fees for the Radford University Plates also go back to the university for the general fund.

Scott A. McIntyre - TCPIP

Scott A. McIntyre

Originally registered on a Honda Civic in 1994; later transferred to a Saab 900. Scott's worked with TCP/IP and Unix since the mid 80's and was surprised that no one else in the Boston area had snatched this one up when he located there in '94. Looking for a self-promotional tool? Scott says that during the .com high days, he couldn't park his car in public without getting headhunter business cards stuck under the windshield wipers.

Ann Navarro, WEBGEEK

Ann Navarro

Registered in May of 2000. Ann reports that WEBGEEK is not only her tag, but the name and trademark of her company, WebGeek, Inc.

Betty WEBGDSS
